Fullstack Job: Senior Java Full Stack Developer

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our dedicated team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical software solutions that enhance the airline's operations and passenger experiences. Your expertise in various technologies will be leveraged to create innovative solutions, and your contributions will shape the future of aviation technology.

Note: This position requires on-site presence in our New Orleans office two to three days a week. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, Angular, Micro-Services, and design patterns.

Utilize cloud services, with a preference for Azure (App Service, Event Hub, Key Vault, Logic App, ACI), and Spring Kafka to build scalable and reliable solutions that enhance the airline's operations.

Work with databases, including MongoDB and Oracle DB, to design and optimize data storage and retrieval processes critical to airline operations.

Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Terraform to automate software development and deployment processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

Monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools such as Dynatrace and Azure App Insights to maintain optimal performance and reliability for our airline client.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software products tailored to the airline industry's unique needs.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skills and contribute to our airline client's success.

Provide mentorship and technical leadership within the team, fostering a culture of excellence.

Mandatory Skills Description:

5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with expertise in Java 11+, Spring Framework, and Angular

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.

Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality software projects within set timelines.

Additional background for all Java Full Stack Developer Roles:

Proficiency in cloud services, particularly Azure, and experience with Spring Kafka. (AWS/CGP/other cloud providers are also acceptable)

Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Terraform.

Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools such as Dynatrace and Azure App Insights.
